A very important milestone has been reached. Day 1 of manufacturing of  Osprey Racing’s 2012 FSAE car has begun! We’re very excited and we’ll keep you updated of our progress as we move forward!

Two major donors, ONEAL STEEL and Riggins competition, donated the material required to manufacture our jig table. It took 7 days from acquisition to completion. Work included, sanding the rust off the table, painting it with primer and then paint, purchasing new leveling bolts, moving the table numerous times (what a PITA!), picking up 500lbf 4ft by 12ft quarter in thick steel in a pickup truck with a 9 foot bed (that was interesting), using man power to unload and mount the 500lbf table top and then 9 hours of cleaning, drilling mounting holes, counter sink holes, and finally bolting down the table top. Chassis manufacturing is a GO!
